Stewart & Lloyds Plastics Nationalised and joined The British Steel Corporation together with The Victaulic Company.

The Victaulic Company plc formed from a management buy-out which bought Stewart & Lloyds Plastics from The British Steel Corporation.

Durapipe & Lamberts formed following acquisition of Lambert Brothers, Durapipes' key UK Distribution & Fabrication Partner. They located to a new facility in Cannock, Staffordshire, UK.

Durapipe International plc formed and quoted on UK Stock Market.

Decentralised and GPS formed with bases at Cannock and Huntingdon, UK.

GPS PE Pipe Systems becomes a UK trading and brand name for the specific division of GPS which designs, manufactures and markets high performance PE Pipe Systems for Water and Gas Distribution in the Utilities and Industrial Markets.
