Accreditations & Industry Associations

To ensure that we always meet the most exacting standards, we are members of a number of industry organisations and have worked hard to attain third party accreditations.

As a result, our customers can always trust us to deliver our quality and service promises and work towards continuous improvement.

ISO 9001 and ISO 14001

Our quality management system has been certified to ISO 9001 since 1996 and our environment management system has been certified to ISO 14001 since 1999. These systems continue to be independently audited to ensure that we remain compliant, giving our customers complete assurance that our high standards are being maintained.

Achilles UVDB

GPS is fully registered on the Utilities Vendor Database, ensuring that we are an approved supplier to the utilities sector.

Achilles UVDB Verify

The UVDB Verify scheme also ensures that our health & safety, quality and environment management systems are independently assessed on an annual basis. Operated by Achilles on behalf of the UK’s major utilities companies, this scheme is considered by many to be the ‘gold standard’ for utilities suppliers and we have consistently been approved since 2006.

Achilles FPAL

GPS is FPAL-registered, providing a pre-qualification assurance for oil & gas industry customers and offering them confidence in our ability to deliver excellent product and service standards.

Our carbon footprint is independently assessed and verified under the Certified Emissions Measurement and Reduction Scheme (CEMARS).

This independent assessment, that now forms part of our environmental performance monitoring every year, confirmed that GPS meets the requirements of CEMARS certification and CRC-EES requirements for early action metric certification having measured its greenhouse gas emissions in compliance with ISO 14064-1:2006 and committed to managing and reducing its emissions in respect of the operational activities of its organisation.
